GAGE Diamonds is happy to offer our customers free return shipping on all engagement rings and jewelry over $500.

Please note that GAGE Diamonds will only accept returned items in their original, unworn and undamaged condition accompanied by original packaging and documentation. Due to their personalized nature, custom orders and any items that have been modified, resized or engraved are subject to a 15%-25% restocking fee or may not be eligible for a refund.

On occasion some items may be completely exempt from our returns policy and this information will be provided to you before purchase. Items that are marked Final Sale will not be eligible for return.

Shipping costs, engraving costs and the cost of appraisal documents are non-refundable. 

All requests for returns and refunds must be in writing via the email address in our system. 


1. If you'd like to return an item please contact GAGE Diamonds within 30 days of your shipment date at with your order number for a return authorization reference number.  Orders that qualify for free return shipping will be emailed a prepaid shipping label. Customers that do not qualify for free return shipping can purchase a return FedEx label from GAGE Diamonds.

2. For all returns and exchanges customers must include all original packaging, documents and certificates. A $200 replacement fee for missing certificates will be charged. For security reasons we recommend that you do not list the recipient as GAGE Diamonds and instead use GAGE. Do not write diamonds, engagement ring, jewelry or other similar words anywhere on the package. Double box your package. Put the small jewelry box in a small FedEx box and place inside a Medium FedEx box. Affix your FedEx label to the outer box.

3. Take your item to a staffed FedEx location and obtain a receipt, your receipt will serve as proof of shipment in the event insurance is required. GAGE Diamonds and FedEx are not responsible for boxes left in FedEx drop boxes or if customers do not a have a receipt confirming shipment.

4. If you prefer to use your own shipping carrier, we recommend that you only use a carrier that provides adequate insurance for the value of your item and one that requires an adult signature upon delivery. If you choose to arrange your own shipping method, GAGE Diamonds will not be responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
Items that are returned without a return authorization number will not be eligible for a refund.

5. Return Authorizations are active for 5 business days from the date of issue and your package must be postmarked within the 5 business days. 


1. Items must be returned within 30 days of shipment.

2. Returned items must be in an unworn, undamaged condition accompanied by original packaging and documentation. Missing certificates will incur a $200 fee.

3. Items that show signs of wear will be refused for return or refund.

4. Items that have been engraved, modified resized or damaged are not eligible for return.

5. Due to their personalized nature, custom orders are subject to a 15%-25% restocking fee.

6. Final Sale items are not eligible for return or refunds.

7. Shipping costs, engraving, appraisal costs or resizing fees are non-refundable.


After we have received your returned item you will receive an email confirmation. The condition of your item will then be assessed by our Quality Assurance department. Please allow up to 3 – 5 business days from confirmation of receipt of your ring for the QA process.  GAGE Diamonds will refund the original purchase amount (less shipping, engraving, appraisal and restocking fees if necessary) via the original payment method. Please allow 10 – 15 business days for credit card refunds. Times are dependent on the banking institutions and GAGE Diamonds cannot expedite this process.

If you have financed all or part of the cost of your item with 50|50Pay a request will be made on your behalf after the QA process to void your loan and refund any payments made. Please allow 10 – 15 business days for any payments to be refunded.


GAGE Diamonds is pleased to offer to you a range of one-of-kind antique and estate jewelry, lovingly restored to maximize the items uniqueness without compromising the piece itself.

All vintage pieces are sold as is. GAGE Diamonds offers one complimentary re-sizing for our vintage rings at the point of sale, however depending on their style, not all rings are able to be resized to the desired size.  Rings that are resized at the point of purchase are not eligible for complimentary resizing and can be resized for a fee.

Where possible, GAGE Diamonds will accompany all mounted gems with certifications, however in the absence of certification, information regarding the specifications of all mounted gems is estimated by our expert staff and should be considered approximate.

Gage Diamonds offers coverage on accented stones on engagement rings and wedding rings within 6 months of purchase. We also offers a free lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects on all products we carry. If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect, simply follow the instructions below.

1. Contact us at and provide your name and order number. Download and print our repair form. Be sure to provide all required information. 

2. Send your item (along with the repair form) via an insured shipping method to:

3.Upon receiving your item, we will inspect it at no additional cost. If the item was damaged due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace the item. If we determine that the damage was not caused by a manufacturing defect, we will notify you with an estimated repair cost.

Please note that any repair services performed by a jeweler other than Gage Diamonds will void the warranty. Slight variations in craftsmanship and natural characteristics of gemstones should not be considered manufacturing defects. Our manufacturing warranty also excludes coverage for normal wear and tear including: bending caused by exerting physical pressure, discoloration due to chemical contact, loss of gemstones and theft.
